Late Night Movie
Technically, it wasn't really a late night movie; merely an evening showing of the movie. Either way, it was good (hey, and freeee! - the school paid for all of us poor souls (lol) who decided to spend Thursday night of the fall break at school rather than at some random exciting place in Europe).
We saw The Departed. Talk about a movie with twists all over the place! It was intense, too. And believe me, Leo looked like a bad boy; he was not his usual sissy, long-haired character. I won't tell you what happens in the movie, but I can tell you that with actors like Jack Nicholson and Matt Damon, and Martin Scorsese's affection to blood and action, this film will definitely surprise you and keep your adrenaline high! (hmm, perhaps in my case I was over-adrenalined because I had a Red Bull right before the film started...)
Other than that, life's been good. I worked at Admissions during the entire break (taking tomorrow off, though, cause I need to rest a bit - and cause I'm going to Hampton Court palace). On Saturday, I'm planning to go on a cultural tour of London and visit some museums and exhibitions. That's as far as my plans for the future go.
I'm happy, London's amazing, and I have to go to sleep now, for I have to wake up early in the morning and give a tour of campus to one of my colleagues at Admissions (part of the training for becoming a student ambassador). So see you later!
